Same pattern,
every time.

Hired for one thing. Ended up doing three others. Left it better than I found it. Here's the record.

The day jobs.

  1. 01

    SC Broadband

    Marketing Representative, Cedar City, UT

My business card says "Marketing Representative." Strategy, web development, SEO, and brand architecture for a fiber cooperative serving 30,500 members across two states all sit on me. Built the dual-brand strategy from scratch. Launched SEO and content from zero. Won four Best of Iron County golds.

  2. 02

    SEO Design Chicago

    SEO Specialist

Agency-side SEO across client accounts: technical audits, on-page work, content strategy across a portfolio of sites.

  3. 03

    Truvy

Senior Director of Marketing, Draper, UT

Health and wellness company in turnaround mode. $2.5M budget. Fifteen people across marketing, art, design, events, and PR. Moved NPS from 35 to 60. Increased brand recognition 33%.

  4. 04

    MCC Apparel / H.M. Cole

    Creative Director

Photography and graphic design turned into analytics, reporting, data strategy, and sales influence. $90K budget. 120% sales increase.

  5. 05

    AllenComm

    Technical Writer / Lead Copywriter

Started as a technical writer. Ended up designing the SPTS online training program. 50,000 teachers completed it across the country. Won four awards.

  6. 06

    Vitality Medical

    Copywriter

Product copy in a regulated medical e-commerce category, where the words have to track product specifications instead of pushing on therapeutic benefits.

Before it was a business.

Iron County Today

Covered news, politics, lifestyle, obituaries. Built the digital presence from nothing. Grew the online following 200% in six months. Won Utah Press Association Awards.

Standing Rock

Filed dispatches from the camps in sub-zero wind, press badge from a FedEx in Bismarck. Some of the most important work I have done.

Mt. Rainier

Published expedition photography with full credit. Field notes written at 12,000 feet in a tent that smelled like wet Gore-Tex and instant coffee.
